When one evaluates Paul Horn's career, it is as if he were deuce hoi polloi, pre- and post-1967. Best used as background music for meditation. Horn started on piano when he was foursome and switched to alto at the eld of 12. Pete's strange 'fag breaks'

BABYSHAMBLES thrilled fans with an intimate gig at Brixton’s Mass last night -
but while PETE DOHERTY started the set well, his repeated 'fag breaks' left
him hollow-eyed and slurring.
THE VIEW’s KYLE FALCONER was the surprise support act,
rolling through a solo acoustic set.

He took in some of his band’s finest tunes as well as brilliant covers of
Don’t Look Back in Anger and SQUEEZE's Up the Junction.

It was inevitable Pete would steal the show and as the band launched into the
first few bars of JOY DIVISION’s She’s Lost Control he looked
fresh-faced and coherent.

But at the halfway mark, things were going downhill and having emptied his can
of lager over the crowd during a cover of THE CLASH’s Janie Jones, it
certainly wasn’t the booze that was doing the damage.

The former LIBERTINES star sported a necklace threaded through the back
of his Titfer and played with it throughout What Katie Did Next - could it
have once belonged to MISS MOSS?

It was repeated 'fag breaks' that attracted the most attention and towards the
end of an admittedly impressive set Pete was nipping off stage between each
song, blatantly flouting the smoking ban at the second floor venue.
If that’s what he was really up to.

'Brad Pitt Is Lovely, Smart & Gorgeous'

It seems that Brad Pitt made a lasting impression on Mary-Louise Parker – and in a good way.

The actress – who shared the screen with Pitt in 2007 movie The Assassination Of Jesse James – had nothing but praise for her former co-star in a recent interview.

"Brad is actually a lovely, smart person, not to mention gorgeous," the actress tells Parade.com.
And the gushing doesn't end there.

Parker continues, "People just project so much onto him and Angelina [Jolie] which isn't true. I just find it so bizarre.

“It's like you've never been in the room with this person, much less met them but you're convinced as to who they are and what they're morality is."
We're more than happy to right this injustice by entering a room with Brad and checking out his morality first-hand.

Shazia is fired from The Apprentice

Mosaic artist Shazia Wahab has become the latest person to be fired by Alan Sugar in 'The Apprentice'.
Wahab, whose family hold a Guinness World Record for the number of degrees they have between them, was booted off the show after the girls' team, led by Jenny Celerier, lost a laundry task on last night's show.
Speaking about her sacking, she said: "I'm shocked that I was fired. I actually don't know (why)."
"When I walked out I was in complete shock. I said I'd been stitched up. I don't know what went through his (Alan Sugar's) mind. I don't think he was given the facts to make a decision."
Wahab continued: "Sir Alan also said that he'd been in the business a long time, for many, many years, and that he knew the good from the bad."
"But what was his impression of Jenny? I don't know why he fired me."
